Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor position located in Coimbatore. The Video Editor will be responsible for creating high-quality video content, editing raw footage, and assembling recorded materials into finished products that align with the creative vision. Daily tasks include video editing, color grading, adding effects, sound design, and collaborating with other team members such as videographers, designers, and content creators to deliver impactful video projects. The role demands creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Experience in color grading, sound design, and creating visual effects
- Familiarity with graphic design tools and principles for integrating text, logos, and other visual elements into videos
- Strong storytelling skills and ability to edit videos to convey clear and compelling narratives
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and adapt to shifting priorities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working closely with a creative team
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in video production
- Experience in creating content for digital platforms, including social media, is a plus
- Qualification in Media Studies, Film Production, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered
