Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Gorakhpur. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into engaging, brand-aligned content for digital campaigns, social media, and other marketing channels. Daily tasks include organizing footage, trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, sound, and graphics, and optimizing videos for multiple platforms and formats. The role also involves color grading, applying motion graphics, collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to interpret briefs and scripts, and maintaining consistent visual standards across all video assets. The Video Editor will be expected to manage project timelines, maintain organized file structures, and stay current with video trends and best practices relevant to digital marketing.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including working with raw footage, timelines, and multi-format exports.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and brand alignment across all video content.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and engagement in digital campaigns.
- Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
- Understanding of digital and social media formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for video performance across platforms.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work from briefs, scripts, and brand guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio of video work is required.
