Role Description This is a part time, work from home Video Editor role based in Guwahati. The Video Editor will assemble, edit, and refine video content for brand campaigns, social media, and cinematic projects, ensuring alignment with each brand’s narrative and visual identity. Responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting key shots, applying transitions, color grading, adding graphics or motion elements, and preparing final exports for different platforms. The role also involves collaborating with directors, producers, and creative strategists, interpreting briefs, and contributing ideas to enhance storytelling. The Video Editor will manage timelines, maintain project files, and ensure consistent quality across all video outputs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing to handle end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the cinematic quality of content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, animations, and visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing, sound, and composition are important.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams, take feedback constructively, and work within deadlines in an on-site environment.
- Relevant experience in film, advertising, or digital content production is preferred; a degree or coursework in film, media, or a related field is an advantage.
