About Us:
Malayalam Tech Studios is a dynamic media company specialising in creating engaging videos for our own social media platforms and other third-party clients. Our content ranges from promotional videos to social media campaigns and client-specific projects. We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) and clients.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver according to the brief.
• Enhance footage with sound, graphics, transitions, and effects.
• Optimize video content for various platforms, ensuring each output meets platform-specific requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest editing trends, tools, and software.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proficiency in video editing software (Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro etc.)
• Proficiency in Photo editing software (Photoshop, InDesign etc.)
• Knowledge of motion graphics and colour grading is a plus.
• Strong storytelling ability through video editing.
• Experience in editing content specifically for social media platforms.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at once.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Time management skills.
Experience:
• Minimum 1-3 years of video editing experience.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work, especially social media content.
