We're looking for a Video Editor who can transform ideas into compelling, high-retention content with strong storytelling and creative execution.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Bengaluru. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, and creating polished videos that align with project objectives and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, adding transitions, titles, and effects, syncing audio, and integrating motion graphics and visual assets. The role also involves basic color correction and grading, collaborating with producers and designers, and preparing final exports optimized for various platforms. The Video Editor is expected to manage timelines, maintain organized project files, and contribute creative ideas to enhance overall video quality.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling footage from concept to final delivery.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and visually appealing color across projects.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and branding.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and best practices for web and social media distribution.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to accept feedback and revise content accordingly.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio demonstrating video editing and motion work is essential.
