Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Bengaluru. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, organizing project assets, and editing video content into clear, compelling narratives for film, digital campaigns, and social media. Day-to-day tasks include trimming clips, adding transitions, synchronizing audio, applying color corrections, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements as needed. The role involves close collaboration with directors, producers, and other creative team members to refine story structure, maintain brand and visual guidelines, and deliver content on schedule. The Video Editor will also help optimize outputs for different platforms and formats while maintaining high technical and aesthetic standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience using professional non-linear editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to maintain consistent visual tone and correct exposure, color balance, and contrast.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics elements, using tools such as Adobe After Effects or similar applications.
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design basics, and visual composition for different formats and platforms.
- Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative revisions.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field is beneficial; a strong portfolio or showreel is essential.
- Experience working in a production house or creative agency environment is an advantage.
