Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Jaipur. The Video Editor will plan, edit, and assemble video content that showcases LuminX products, technology, and customer success stories for use across digital channels. Daily responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting appropriate clips, adding transitions, effects, text, and sound, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and messaging. The role involves collaborating closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand campaign objectives, create storyboards, and deliver engaging video assets on schedule. The Video Editor will also optimize videos for different platforms, maintain an organized media library, and continually refine content based on feedback and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Strong video editing skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Experience with motion graphics, basic animation, and visual effects (e.g., Adobe After Effects or similar).
- Ability to work with audio, including sound editing, mixing, and syncing voiceovers or music tracks.
- Skills in video pre-production such as storyboarding, shot planning, and understanding of cinematography basics.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms for video distribution (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, pacing, and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and respond constructively to feedback.
- Comfort working on-site in Jaipur and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant education in film, media, design, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of sustainable or building materials industries is a plus but not required.
