Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, trend-aware Video Editor who understands the dynamics of modern social media, especially Instagram-first content. The role is fully remote and flexible, open to freelancers, part-time editors, and full-time professionals.
This is ideal for someone who thrives in a relaxed, creativity-driven environment rather than the rigid deadlines and pressure of a traditional corporate setup.
Key Responsibilities
Edit engaging Instagram-first video content including Reels, short-form ads, and promotional videos.
Stay updated on the latest Instagram trends, editing styles, and viral content formats.
Select and integrate trending audio and music to enhance engagement and retention.
Apply creative transitions, pacing, and storytelling techniques to maximise performance.
Collaborate with the Luma team to bring brand narratives to life visually.
Adapt editing styles across different brands, with a focus on food, hospitality, and beyond.
Contribute to campaigns for corporate, law firm, and mortgage firm clients as Luma grows.
What We're Looking For
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, or similar.
Strong understanding of Instagram trends, short-form content, and what makes Reels perform.
Awareness of current editing styles, hooks, pacing, and viral formats.
A creative eye for storytelling, aesthetics, and visual branding.
Ability to work independently and bring original ideas to every project.
Passion for content that genuinely stands out.
