Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Mumbai. The Video Editor will work with creative and production teams to edit raw footage into polished videos for marketing campaigns, social media, internal communications, and client projects. Daily responsibilities include assembling and trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, color correcting and grading footage, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements as needed. The role also involves organizing media assets, maintaining project files, following brand guidelines, and collaborating on concepts and storyboards. The Video Editor is expected to meet deadlines, provide creative input, and adapt content for different formats and platforms.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in video editing for social media, digital marketing, or branded content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual composition.
- Experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to edit both short-form and long-form videos while maintaining brand consistency.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, basic animation, and typography is a plus.
- Familiarity with color correction, sound design, and audio syncing.
- Ability to work with raw footage, stock assets, and client-provided materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant editing work is required.
