Role Description The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage into polished videos, assembling narrative structures, and ensuring smooth transitions, pacing, and audio-visual coherence. The Video Editor will perform color grading, incorporate motion graphics and basic graphic elements, and collaborate closely with directors, producers, and marketers to translate creative briefs into engaging visual content. The role also involves organizing media assets, maintaining project files, optimizing content for various platforms, and contributing ideas to improve storytelling quality and production workflows.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and impact.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for enhancing visual storytelling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, sound design basics, and different video formats and aspect ratios.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, collaborate in a team setting, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field, and a strong portfolio showcasing completed video projects.
- Prior experience in commercial, social media, or branded content production is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years experience is mandatory.
- Candidates from Pune location are preferred.
