We are a new-age media company building pop-culture-first infotainment content. Our focus is simple: create high-retention, scroll-stopping reels that people actually watch till the end.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Video Editor who can turn ideas into engaging short-form content. This role is not just about editing it’s about understanding attention, pacing, and storytelling.
- Edit high-retention reels (30–90 seconds) for Instagram & YouTube Shorts
- Convert raw footage into engaging, fast-paced narratives
- Add motion graphics, subtitles, jump cuts, and sound design to improve watchability
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form videos
- Collaborate with the content team to improve retention and engagement
- Stay updated with current editing trends, formats, and viral patterns
Skills:
Strong understanding of short-form video content and audience behavior
- Basic storytelling and pacing skills
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
- A portfolio of past work (reels/shorts preferred)
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience editing viral content
- Knowledge of motion graphics / After Effects
- Understanding of hooks, retention, and content structure
Pay-scale: 25,000 (Negotiable)
