The Role
This is an Individual Contributor role for someone who wants to own video, not just execute it. You'll be working at the intersection of platform-native content and AI-assisted production: editing short-form reels, social content, and podcast/thought leadership clips for brands that have real things to say. You won't be handed a playbook. You'll be expected to bring one. The tools are evolving fast. So is the craft. We want someone who's already keeping up, and ideally, already ahead.
What You'll Need:
Non-negotiable
· 2–4 years of video editing experience in an agency or structured content setup
· A demonstrable, instinctive understanding of short-form formats across Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn; your prior work should show this, not just your resume
· Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools in your video workflow. We want to see how you've used them, not just that you know they exist
· High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools; you should be fast, precise, and comfortable handling full edits end-to-end without friction
Strong Plus
· Motion graphics capability; the ability to bring type, transitions, and visual ideas to life.
· A genuine eye for sound design and colour grading
· Experience editing podcasts, talking-head videos, and thought leadership content into scroll-stopping short-form
You're Probably Right for This If:
· You live on Instagram and YouTube, not to scroll, but to study. You can break down why a reel worked in under 30 seconds
· You've already built AI into how you work, and you're actively experimenting with what's next
· You think about pacing, text placement, and sound the way a writer thinks about word choice — every decision is intentional
· You're comfortable being the only video person in the room and owning that completely
· You can hold a brand's voice across a content calendar without every piece feeling templated
This Probably Isn't for You If:
· Your portfolio is technically clean but emotionally flat
· You need detailed direction before you can start thinking
· You treat AI tools as a gimmick rather than a genuine upgrade to your craft
· You're here for the client names on your resume, not the quality of work on your reel
