Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Ludhiana. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best clips, and editing videos to meet project requirements and deadlines. Day-to-day tasks include applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, performing color correction and grading, and incorporating motion graphics and titles. The role involves collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to understand project briefs, maintain consistent brand standards, and optimize videos for various platforms. The Video Editor will also organize and manage media assets, ensure exports meet technical specifications, and stay updated with editing trends and software features.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including working with different formats and timelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic post-production workflows to ensure visual consistency and quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and a portfolio demonstrating previous video editing work are expected.
- Effective communication skills, the ability to work on-site in Ludhiana, and reliability in meeting deadlines are required.
- A diploma or degree in film, media, communication, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is an advantage.
