Role Overview
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-performing ad creatives optimized for paid media platforms like Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, etc. You should have a strong understanding of short-form content, hooks, retention, and conversion-focused storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for:
- Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram)
- TikTok Ads
- Create scroll-stopping hooks in the first 3 seconds
- Add motion graphics, captions, and transitions
- Optimize videos for performance (CTR, retention, conversions)
- Repurpose content into multiple variations for testing
- Work closely with the marketing team to align creatives with campaign goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing for ads (NOT just general editing)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Motion graphics
- Text overlays & subtitles
- Short-form video trends
- Experience with tools like:
- Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects
- Understanding of:
- Paid media creatives
- Voice-over videos
- UGC-style videos
- Conversion-focused editing
- Ability to deliver quickly and handle multiple revisions
Bonus (Good to Have)
- Experience with eCommerce brands
- Understanding of ad metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS)
- Experience creating UGC-style or native-looking ads
- Basic copywriting sense for hooks & CTAs
