Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Gurugram. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing training, marketing, and educational video content from raw footage to final delivery, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives. Day-to-day tasks include assembling footage, trimming and sequencing clips, applying transitions, sound syncing, and basic audio cleanup. The role involves color correcting and grading videos, creating or integrating motion graphics, and collaborating with trainers, subject matter experts, and the marketing team to visualize concepts. The Video Editor will also help optimize videos for different platforms, manage media assets, and maintain organized project files and archives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage, timelines, and exporting in multiple formats.
- Candidates should possess solid Video Color Grading skills, with the ability to correct exposure, balance color, and maintain a consistent visual style across projects.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create engaging titles, lower thirds, infographics, and simple animations for training and promotional content.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is preferred.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work are required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage deadlines, and adapt to feedback in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education in film, media, design, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
- Familiarity with educational or corporate training content and basic audio editing skills will be considered an advantage.
