Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Video Editor to produce engaging and high-quality video content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, visual composition, and technical expertise in editing tools, with the ability to transform raw footage into impactful content aligned with brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, websites, ads, and marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to understand project requirements
- Add visual effects, motion graphics, transitions, and sound design to enhance video quality
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand identity and creative direction
- Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Review and revise edits based on feedback
- Maintain organized project files and archives
- Stay updated with current video editing trends, tools, and techniques
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques
- Basic knowledge of color grading and sound editing
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus
- Strong storytelling and visual communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media, Communication, or related field
- Experience working in a creative agency or digital marketing environment
- Knowledge of social media trends and video content strategies
- Basic understanding of UI/UX or branding principles (added advantage)
