Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Puducherry. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end editing of video content for branding campaigns, social media, events, and promotional materials. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting clips, adding transitions, syncing audio, and incorporating graphics or motion elements to meet project objectives and brand guidelines. The role also involves basic color correction or grading, collaborating closely with the creative, content, and marketing teams, and maintaining organized project files and asset libraries. The Video Editor is expected to contribute creative ideas, meet deadlines, and adapt edits for different platforms and formats.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video production and video editing, including handling raw footage and creating polished deliverables.
- Proficiency in video color grading and basic post-production workflows to ensure consistent visual quality.
- Experience with motion graphics and graphics to enhance storytelling and brand communication.
- Comfort with industry-standard editing and design software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or equivalent).
- Attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines, and strong sense of visual storytelling.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Prior experience in agency or digital marketing environments is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
