We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just edit videos , they understand storytelling, know how to retain attention, and want to help build one of India’s leading founder-focused media brands.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Content & Video Producer with at least 1 year of professional experience in video production and editing.
You’ll own content across the entire production process , from planning and filming to editing and publishing. You’ll work closely with founders, creators, and the Humans Of Hustle team to produce high-quality content that people genuinely enjoy watching.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys experimenting with content, and wants to grow alongside the company.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Plan, shoot, and edit podcasts, interviews, and founder-led content
* Repurpose long-form videos into engaging Reels, Shorts, and social-first content
* Add subtitles, motion graphics, transitions, and visual enhancements
* Set up cameras, lighting, microphones, and production equipment during shoots
* Capture behind-the-scenes content and event coverage
* Design basic thumbnails and social creatives when required
* Organize footage and maintain efficient editing workflows
* Collaborate with the social media team on publishing and content strategy
* Stay updated with trends and continuously experiment with new storytelling formats
* Contribute ideas that improve audience retention, engagement, and overall content quality
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of experience in professional video editing or content production
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
* Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools
* Understanding of cameras, lighting, audio, and production workflows
* Strong understanding of YouTube, Instagram Reels, and short-form storytelling
* Excellent sense of pacing, hooks, retention, and visual storytelling
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to receive feedback
* Genuine interest in startups, entrepreneurship, creators, and digital media
Bonus Points
* Experience editing podcasts or interview-based content
* Motion graphics experience
* Thumbnail design experience
* Photography or videography skills
* Experience working with creators, agencies, or media companies
* Personal YouTube, Instagram, or content portfolio
