Role Description
The Video Editor role at House of TDF is a full-time hybrid position based in Ahmedabad, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. In this role, the Video Editor will edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for campaigns, social media, and brand storytelling. Responsibilities include refining video structure, applying transitions and effects, adjusting audio, and performing basic color corrections to ensure consistent visual quality. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and branding teams to interpret briefs, maintain brand guidelines, and meet project timelines. Day-to-day work may also involve creating simple motion graphics, preparing video assets for different platforms, organizing media files, and contributing creative ideas to enhance visual narratives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with various formats and platforms.
- Experience with Video Color Grading to maintain consistent tone, mood, and brand-aligned visual style.
- Proficiency in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and visual elements.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and capacity to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education in film, media, design, communications, or comparable practical experience.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating storytelling ability, visual creativity, and technical proficiency.
