Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Ahmedabad. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, and crafting engaging video content for digital campaigns, websites, and social media channels. Daily tasks include editing video sequences, adding transitions, syncing audio, applying color grading, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements as needed. The role involves collaborating with creative, marketing, and production teams to understand project goals, maintain brand consistency, and meet deadlines. The Video Editor will also manage file organization, export formats, and quality checks to ensure deliverables meet technical and creative standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills for creating polished, story-driven content.
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of footage.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to design and integrate titles, lower thirds, overlays, and other visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of pacing, composition, and sound design are beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, along with a portfolio showcasing previous video work, is beneficial.
