Video Editor
Experience: 2–4 years
Location: Chennai
At Hashtag, the Video Editor makes our videos land. You cut reels, social videos, and brand pieces, owning the pace, the story, and the feel and you turn raw footage into content people watch to the end.
You love editing, you're fast, and you care about the details that make a cut feel right. You bring a good sense of story, and you're always levelling up.

What You'll Do
Cut the Work
- Edit social videos, reels, and brand pieces across our brands.
- Own story, pace, and feel on your cuts.
- Turn footage around fast without dropping quality.
Own Your Craft
- Own quality and timelines on your edits.
- Take feedback well and push the work further.
- Keep levelling up your editing.
Work With the Team
- Partner with the Senior Editor, Production, and Motion (Design).
What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)
- Your edits are sharp, on-time, and land well.
- You take on harder cuts with less direction.
- Production and Content trust your craft.
Who You Are
- 2–4 years editing video, ideally social and brand.
- A reel that shows story and rhythm.
- Fast and reliable with the toolkit (Premiere/DaVinci/etc.).
- Organised, open to feedback, hungry to grow.
Nice-to-Haves (Optional)
- Motion, colour, or sound skills.
- Camera basics.
- Ambition to grow into a Senior Editor.
