Role Description The Video Editor role at Globuzz Media is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune District. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for marketing campaigns, social media, brand storytelling, and internal initiatives, ensuring alignment with project objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, applying transitions and effects, color grading, and optimizing audio for clarity and impact. The role also involves collaborating with designers, content creators, and marketing strategists to develop engaging visual narratives, incorporating motion graphics, and preparing final deliverables for various digital platforms. The Video Editor is expected to manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines, and maintain organized file workflows and version control.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production processes.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading and Graphics to ensure consistent visual quality and brand-aligned aesthetics.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics for promotional videos, explainer content, and social media assets.
- Experience working with industry-standard editing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalents).
- Solid understanding of digital content formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social channels.
- Strong storytelling, visual communication, and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret creative briefs and client feedback effectively.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune District, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and manage time and priorities across multiple projects.
- Relevant education in film, media, design, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in video editing and production.
