We are now looking for a Video Editor Associate to help us tell powerful, relatable, and high-impact stories through video content.
Role Overview
As a Video Editor Associate at Fery, you will be responsible for creating engaging, high-performing video content across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp.
Your work will directly impact:
- Brand awareness
- User engagement
- Customer trust
- Community storytelling
Key Responsibilities🎬 Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit short-form videos, reels, and promotional content for social media
- Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and music for impactful storytelling
- Ensure videos are optimized for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and ads
🎥 Content Execution Support
- Work with raw footage from shoots (campaigns, testimonials, events)
- Assist in structuring stories and narratives from available footage
🎯 Campaign & Brand Alignment
- Collaborate with the marketing and social media team for campaigns
- Ensure all videos align with Fery’s tone, messaging, and brand identity
💡 Creative Storytelling
- Edit videos that highlight:
- Sister Partner journeys
- Customer experiences
- Safety & empowerment narratives
- Suggest new reel formats, trends, and viral content ideas
📊 Content Performance Awareness
- Understand what works on social media
- Optimize edits based on:
- Engagement
- Watch time
- Retention
📁 Coordination & Delivery
- Maintain organized video files and project folders
- Ensure timely delivery of content as per campaign timelines
🎯 Key Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience in video editing/content creation
- Proficiency in tools like:
- Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut / After Effects (basic)
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels & short-form content trends
- Basic knowledge of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
