Role Description:
We are looking for a full-time, on-site Video Editor for Podcasts based in Mumbai.
This role is not just about editing videos - it is about understanding conversations, spotting viral moments, and converting long-form podcast content into highly engaging short-form reels.
The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys consuming business, startup, informational, finance, and founder-led content.
Someone who naturally watches podcasts, understands internet culture, and can identify clips that have the potential to spark engagement, conversations, and virality.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects knowledge is a plus)
- Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing tools
- Experience creating Motion Graphics and basic Graphic Design elements
- Familiarity with storytelling principles and brand consistency
- Experience editing podcasts, interviews, or conversational content
- Strong understanding of short-form content formats and viral editing patterns
- Ability to watch long-form content and identify high-performing reel moments
- Good understanding of English language, conversations, and internet culture
- Interest in business, startups, finance, self-improvement, or informational content
- Understanding of pacing, retention editing, storytelling, and audience engagement
- Strong observation skills and curiosity-driven thinking
- Prior experience with podcast or creator-led content is a strong plus
Key Responsibilites
- Edit long-form podcast episodes for YouTube and social platforms
- Identify high-retention, viral-worthy moments from long-form conversations
- Convert podcasts into engaging short-form reels with strong pacing and storytelling
- Add subtitles, motion graphics, sound design, zooms, cuts, and platform-native editing styles
- Understand audience psychology and edit for retention, curiosity, and engagement
- Collaborate with the creative and strategy teams on hooks, storytelling, and reel structures
- Stay updated with trends in podcasts, creator content, business media, and short-form editing styles
- Manage fast-paced content output while maintaining quality and attention to detail
