FandomWire is expanding its social media video content and is looking for a reliable video editor who can create engaging short-form videos for our social platforms.

We’re seeking someone who not only has strong editing skills but also understands pop culture, entertainment media, and fandom-driven storytelling - the core areas in which FandomWire operates.

This role involves working closely with our Social Media Head in a fast-paced content environment.

Responsibilities:

• Edit 5 short-form videos (3–30 seconds) for social media reels
• Edit 5 one-minute videos for social platforms
• Deliver engaging, platform-optimized edits suitable for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts etc.
• Incorporate trending formats, pacing, captions, and visual storytelling techniques
• Meet quick turnaround times and content deadlines

Requirements:

• Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
• Solid understanding of pop culture, movies, TV, gaming, and entertainment media
• Ability to work in a fast-paced content production environment
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Experience editing short-form social media content
