Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Belgaum. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, sequencing, and syncing audio to create engaging content for marketing, social media, and internal communications. Daily tasks include refining visual storytelling, applying color grading, incorporating motion graphics and basic graphic elements, and ensuring brand consistency across all video outputs. The role involves collaborating closely with creative, marketing, and production teams to interpret briefs, suggest visual concepts, and deliver projects on schedule. The Video Editor will also manage media assets, maintain organized project files, and stay current with editing trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with the ability to turn concepts and scripts into compelling visual stories.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of video content.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, transitions, and simple visual effects.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in an on-site environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video editing and motion graphics work.
