Role Description The Video Editor is a full-time role based in Chidambaram with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the Video Editor will edit and assemble raw footage into compelling video content for marketing campaigns, social media, brand stories, and client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include cutting and refining video, adding transitions and effects, performing basic color correction, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements to align with brand guidelines. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative, content, and marketing teams to interpret briefs, develop concepts, and deliver on brand objectives and timelines. The role also involves managing project files, maintaining organized workflows, and adapting content for multiple platforms and formats.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills, including experience working with professional editing tools and workflows.
- Proficiency in video color grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual tone across different projects.
- Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics to enhance storytelling and brand communication.
- Understanding of digital and social media platforms, aspect ratios, and best practices for video content performance.
- Attention to detail, strong sense of visual composition, and ability to follow brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software is highly beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
