Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Mumbai. The Video Editor will work closely with directors, producers, and other creatives to assemble raw footage into polished final cuts for films, commercials, and digital content. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and managing media, editing video sequences, synchronizing audio, applying basic visual effects, and refining pacing and narrative flow. The role also involves color grading, adding motion graphics or titles when needed, and preparing deliverables optimized for various platforms. The Video Editor will participate in review sessions, implement feedback, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess a relevant experience of 2-3 years in Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for narrative and commercial content.
- Candidates are expected to have their own working system and be willing to bring and set it up at the studio as required.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to achieve consistent and visually appealing looks.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and simple visual effects.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar).
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound sync, and visual composition.
- Ability to collaborate with creative teams, handle feedback constructively, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant experience in film, digital content, or advertising; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
- Formal training or a degree in film, media, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
