Role Description The Video Editor role at Engage Loom is a full-time, work from home. In this role, the Video Editor will edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, with a primary focus on Instagram. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, applying color grading, creating motion graphics, and integrating visual assets to produce polished, platform-optimized videos. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with content strategists and social media specialists to align visuals with brand voice, trending topics, and campaign objectives. The role also involves managing project timelines, organizing media assets, and continuously experimenting with new formats and styles that fit fast-paced, digital news and marketing content.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for social media and digital-first formats.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance storytelling.
- Experience creating Motion Graphics and working with Graphics for engaging, dynamic content.
- Comfort with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools).
- Ability to interpret briefs, follow brand guidelines, and adapt content to different audiences and platforms.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site team environment.
- Understanding of current social media trends, especially within AI, tech, and digital culture topics.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
