Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Education Planner. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and producing video content that supports student outreach, marketing campaigns, and educational resources, ensuring consistent visual storytelling aligned with the organization’s brand. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, applying transitions, sound design, and color correction, as well as incorporating motion graphics and visual elements to improve clarity and engagement. The role involves collaborating with marketing and academic consulting teams to understand project objectives, adapt content for various platforms, and manage deadlines across multiple projects. The Video Editor will also maintain organized asset libraries, optimize videos for digital channels, and suggest creative concepts that help communicate Education Planner’s mission and services.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Video Editing and Video Production using professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Must have hand on experience in working with Claude AI, ChatGPT , Midjourney, CANVA etc
- Must be comfortable editing multi-lingual content (English, Hindi, Punjabi) with accurate text overlays and audio-pacing
- Skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual style and high-quality footage presentation.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements, titles, and animations.
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams (marketing, academic consultants, and operations).
- Familiarity with digital marketing or educational content is beneficial; prior experience in the education or study-abroad sector is a plus.
