Role Description This is a full-time Video Editor role based in Virudhunagar with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into engaging video content for social media, websites, advertisements, and other digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include trimming and assembling clips, adding transitions, sound, text overlays, and graphics, as well as optimizing video formats for different platforms. The role involves closely collaborating with the marketing, design, and content teams to develop concepts, maintain brand consistency, and meet campaign goals. The Video Editor will also manage media assets, follow project timelines, and suggest creative improvements to enhance visual storytelling and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage, timelines, and export settings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone, mood, and quality across projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and social media assets.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail, with an understanding of content for social media and digital marketing.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines, take feedback constructively, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or a diploma/degree in film, media, communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in a digital marketing or agency environment is a plus, along with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video work.
