Role Description The Video Editor role at DrishtiQon is a full-time, on-site position based in Panchkula. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into engaging video content, including brand films, social media assets, and promotional materials that align with each client’s narrative and strategy. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and selecting clips, editing sequences, adding transitions and effects, refining audio, and collaborating with the creative team to ensure visual consistency across campaigns. The role also involves color grading, basic motion graphics, and working with graphic elements to enhance storytelling. The Video Editor will participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute creative ideas, and support the production process from pre-production planning through final delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for short- and long-form content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance brand mood.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and simple animations that support storytelling.
- Candidates should possess skills in Graphics to work with visual assets, layouts, and brand elements within video projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with strategists, designers, and clients, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in agency or studio environments is an advantage.
