Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling, trends, and visual aesthetics. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging content.
- Create videos for social media platforms, advertisements, promotional campaigns, YouTube, and branding projects.
- Add transitions, effects, graphics, captions, sound effects, and music to enhance content quality.
- Collaborate with the creative team, cinematographers, and marketing team to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and basic motion graphics work.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, social media formats, and industry standards.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Organize and maintain video files and project assets.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and social media requirements.
- Creative mindset with strong storytelling skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in editing content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media ads.
- Understanding of photography and cinematography basics.
- Portfolio/showreel showcasing previous work.
