Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Bengaluru. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into polished, engaging content for digital campaigns, social media, and brand communications. Daily tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, sound, and music, applying color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements to align with brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating closely with creative, content, and marketing teams to understand project objectives, interpret briefs, and deliver videos that support campaign goals. The Video Editor will also organize media assets, maintain file management best practices, and ensure timely delivery of all video projects.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain consistent brand look and feel.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and brand messaging.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion design tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Good understanding of digital and social media formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for short-form and long-form video content.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, with openness to feedback and iterative creative processes.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio demonstrating recent video work is required.
