VIDEO EDITOR – DEFENCE & GEOPOLITICS CONTENT

ABOUT THE ROLE
Pentagon Press seeks a skilled Video Editor with expertise in storytelling, pacing, and digital-first content creation. This role focuses on producing compelling visual content in the defence, geopolitics, and national security domain.

- Kalam & Kavach: An annual strategic dialogue convening senior military leaders, policymakers, and defence innovators.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit long-form video podcasts, interviews, and panel discussions with focus on narrative flow and engagement
- Produce short-form content optimized for digital platforms (reels, shorts, teasers, trailers)
- Ensure technical excellence: precise cuts, pacing, audio synchronization, and visual coherence
- Design and integrate motion graphics, lower-thirds, captions, and on-screen text elements
- Adapt content for multi-platform distribution (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, X)
- Collaborate closely with content, production, and editorial teams
- Maintain consistent brand identity and professional production standards across all deliverables
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of professional video editing experience
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects (preferred)
- Demonstrated understanding of podcast-style and interview-based content formats
- Strong awareness of social media video trends and platform-specific optimization
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Based in or willing to relocate to New Delhi
