Role Description The Video Editor role at Crink.App is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. In this role, you will edit and assemble video content for mental wellness and parenting-focused products, campaigns, and social channels. You will be responsible for refining footage, applying color corrections, adding motion graphics, and creating visual assets that align with brand guidelines and storytelling goals. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to interpret briefs, maintain consistent visual style, and deliver high-quality video outputs on schedule. You will also manage media files, optimize video formats for multiple platforms, and contribute creative ideas to enhance audience engagement and understanding.
Qualifications
- Strong video production skills, including planning, shooting coordination, and understanding of the end-to-end video workflow.
- Proficiency in video editing tools and techniques, with solid experience in assembling footage, trimming, and sequencing clips.
- Ability in video color grading, ensuring visual consistency, mood, and quality across all content.
- Experience with motion graphics and graphics, creating engaging titles, overlays, animations, and visual elements for digital platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop or similar tools).
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex topics into clear, empathetic content.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and respond to feedback constructively.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in professional video editing.
- Prior experience creating content for wellness, education, or consumer apps is an advantage, along with an interest in mental health and family well-being.
