Role Description The Video Editor will work full time on-site in Noida, collaborating with directors, senior editors, and other creatives to assemble raw footage into polished, cinematic videos. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and reviewing footage, cutting and sequencing clips, integrating sound, music, voiceovers, and visual effects, and ensuring smooth pacing and storytelling across projects. The role involves adapting edits to different platforms and formats, maintaining brand consistency, and preparing final deliverables for digital channels and client presentations. The Video Editor will also participate in creative discussions, provide input on shot choices and visual style, and ensure that deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Strong video editing skills using any industry-standard software (skills matter more than the software you use).
- Experience with basic motion graphics and visual effects tools to enhance storytelling.
- Solid understanding of sound design, music selection, and audio mixing for video projects.
- Ability to craft compelling visual narratives through pacing, transitions, and shot selection.
- Familiarity with digital content formats and requirements for social media and online platforms.
- Attention to detail in color correction, grading, and overall visual consistency.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to incorporate feedback from creative and client teams.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in a production house or agency environment is an advantage.
