Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Lucknow. The Video Editor will work closely with the creative and production teams to edit video content for social media, campaigns, events, and brand storytelling. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, adding transitions, audio, and basic effects, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality videos. The role involves collaborating on storyboards, optimizing videos for different platforms, and maintaining visual consistency with brand guidelines. The Video Editor will also support on-set video production as needed and manage project files and assets in an organized workflow.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, cutting to narrative, and syncing audio.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance mood, consistency, and overall visual quality.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and basic Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and simple visual elements.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability to optimize videos for social media platforms (Reels, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- Strong sense of timing, visual storytelling, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a creative team.
- Relevant coursework, certifications, or a portfolio demonstrating previous video projects; agency or production house experience is a plus.
