About the Role:We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join Maaef. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to produce engaging video content for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and branding purposes.
Key Responsibilities:- Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for social media, website, ads, and promotional campaigns.
- Add effects, transitions, sound, subtitles, and graphics to enhance content quality.
- Work closely with the marketing and creative team to understand project requirements.
- Create short-form and long-form video content for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated with latest video trends, editing styles, and platform requirements.
- Manage and organize video assets, files, and project archives.
- Stay updated with latest social media trends, editing styles, viral content formats, and competitor activities.
- Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining brand quality standards.
(Note - Responsibilities may vary depending on project requirements, business operations, and management needs. Additional duties related to assigned tasks may be allocated as required.)
Required Skills:- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and exporting settings.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation is a plus.
- Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Basic knowledge of Graphic Designing using Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, or similar tools is a plus.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of photography/cinematography is an advantage.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Media, Film, Animation, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Video Editor.
- A strong portfolio showcasing short-form video content is mandatory.
Preferred Candidate:- Someone who understands internet culture, trends, memes, and audience behavior.
- Creative thinker with the ability to bring fresh ideas regularly.
- Fast learner with passion for digital content creation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
