Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Delhi, India. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and reviewing video assets, editing sequences, adding transitions and effects, and ensuring audio and visual consistency across deliverables. The role involves close collaboration with directors, producers and other team members to interpret briefs, incorporate feedback and meet deadlines for various film and promotional projects. The Video Editor will also support basic motion graphics, color correction, and exporting videos in multiple formats optimized for global distribution platforms.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing skills including organizing footage, editing timelines and working with various video formats.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone, mood, and quality across projects.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create and integrate titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and visual assets.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and familiarity with audio editing tools.
- Strong storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to follow brand and style guidelines while meeting tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on edits.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field; prior experience in film or digital content post-production is an advantage.
- Minimum experience required: 7 years
