Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Raipur. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing educational and promotional video content, assembling raw footage, selecting the best clips, and creating engaging narratives that support the brand’s learning-focused mission. Daily tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, titles, graphics, and sound, and performing basic color correction and audio adjustments to ensure a polished final product. The role also involves collaborating with tutors and the marketing team to understand content requirements, adapting videos for different platforms, and maintaining a consistent visual style across all media. The Video Editor is expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas to improve the quality and impact of video content.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience assembling and refining educational or promotional content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading and basic color correction to ensure visual consistency and professional-quality output.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance explanations, highlight key concepts, and improve viewer engagement.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop or similar).
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual communication, especially for academic or learning-focused content.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines on-site.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with educators and the marketing team.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Animation, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in education or edtech is an advantage.
