Role Overview: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing media team in Bangalore. You will edit raw footage into compelling content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and more — content that actually reaches people and makes an impact.
What You'll Do:
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging content for YouTube and social media
- Add music, sound effects, graphics, and transitions that match Bolo India's storytelling style
- Cut and assemble content for different formats — Reels, YouTube Shorts, long-form videos, and ads
- Collaborate with our content and anchoring team to bring stories to life
- Ensure all content aligns with our brand guidelines and visual identity
- Make revisions based on feedback quickly and efficiently
- Organise and manage video assets and project files
What We're Looking For:
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and compression for different platforms
- Strong creativity and a good sense of storytelling, pacing, and rhythm
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media trends
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics — After Effects is a big plus
- Basic colour correction and audio editing skills
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Prior project experience in video editing
- A portfolio or sample work on YouTube or Instagram
- Passion for news, storytelling, or digital media
