BigBoost AI Private Limited is hiring a Video Editor with strong creative instincts and hands-on experience in performance marketing creatives, short-form content, and paid advertising ecosystems.
We are looking for someone who understands that editing is not just about visuals — it is about attention, engagement, storytelling, and ultimately performance. The ideal candidate should be capable of creating fast-paced, conversion-focused creatives while adapting to evolving digital content trends across social platforms.
This is a full-time Work From Office role based in Chennai. We are specifically looking for candidates who are comfortable working from office in a collaborative agency environment. This is not a remote, freelance, or part-time opportunity.
The role requires a strong balance between creative execution speed, ownership, adaptability, and collaboration. We value people who proactively contribute ideas, explore new creative approaches, and take initiative instead of waiting only for assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Edit high-performing creatives for paid marketing campaigns across Meta, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital platforms
- Create engaging short-form content including reels, UGC-style ads, promotional creatives, and performance-driven video assets
- Work closely with performance marketing teams to understand campaign goals, audience psychology, hooks, and conversion-focused creative strategies
- Repurpose raw footage into platform-native ad creatives with strong pacing, captions, transitions, storytelling, and retention-focused editing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Social Media team to create content for the company’s own digital presence and branding initiatives
- Support internal marketing activities through video content for company announcements, hiring campaigns, events, culture initiatives, and brand-building efforts
- Maintain strong coordination with content, design, social media, and marketing teams to ensure consistency in creative communication
- Efficiently manage both client deliverables and internal content requirements, with clear prioritization towards client work and campaign timelines
- Contribute proactively with new editing styles, content ideas, social trends, AI workflows, and creative improvement suggestions
- Research and experiment with emerging AI-based editing, automation, and creative tools to improve speed, quality, and output efficiency
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and meeting quick turnaround timelines
- Stay updated with evolving digital trends, ad creative formats, and content consumption behavior across social platforms
What We Are Looking For- 2–3 years of relevant experience in video editing within a digital agency, D2C brand, media company, or performance marketing ecosystem
- Strong portfolio showcasing paid ads, reels, short-form edits, social-first creatives, UGC content, and performance marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of performance-driven editing styles and audience retention techniques
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Good understanding of motion graphics, typography, transitions, sound design, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently with ownership and accountability
- Strong adaptability towards fast-changing creative requirements and execution environments
- Openness towards learning, implementing, and researching AI-based creative tools and workflows
- Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Ability to proactively contribute ideas and creative improvements without depending only on assigned instructions
