Role Description The Video Editor role at Bazaar Digital is a full-time, on-site position based in Darbhanga. In this role, the Video Editor will edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging video content for various digital platforms and client campaigns. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with creative and marketing teams, applying transitions and effects, performing basic sound alignment, and ensuring visual consistency with brand guidelines. The Video Editor will also handle color correction and grading, integrate motion graphics and text overlays as needed, and optimize videos for different formats and channels. This position involves managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high production standards.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills, with experience assembling raw footage into cohesive narratives.
- Proficiency in video color grading and visual refinement to achieve consistent, professional-quality output.
- Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and basic graphics to enhance storytelling and brand messaging.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
- Good understanding of digital content formats, social media platforms, and best practices for online video.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work on-site in Darbhanga within a collaborative team environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio showcasing recent video work.
