About the Role
Batangarh News is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging news, social media, and digital content. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a good understanding of storytelling, and the ability to deliver high-quality videos within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit news videos, reels, shorts, and long-form content for digital platforms.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, captions, background music, and visual effects where required.
- Create engaging videos optimized for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Ensure videos meet brand guidelines and maintain consistent quality.
- Collaborate with reporters, content creators, and the social media team.
- Organize and manage video files, footage, and project assets.
- Stay updated with the latest editing trends and social media content formats.
- Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining high production standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing (Freshers with an excellent portfolio may also apply).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and motion graphics is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, color correction, and audio editing.
- Experience editing vertical videos, reels, and shorts.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines.
- Basic understanding of current affairs and digital media is a plus.
