Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Bengaluru. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling video content for marketing campaigns, product explainers, community stories, and social media, ensuring consistency with Base91’s brand and messaging. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting clips, applying transitions, and integrating audio, graphics, and motion elements to produce engaging videos. The role involves collaborating with marketing, product, and community teams to understand objectives, develop visual concepts, and refine content based on feedback. The Video Editor will also support pre-production planning, maintain an organized asset library, and optimize videos for digital platforms and formats.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in video color grading and motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling and brand consistency.
- Ability to create and integrate graphics that align with brand guidelines and support clear communication.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Solid understanding of framing, pacing, visual composition, and sound design for digital-first video content.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver to deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work is essential.
- Familiarity with social media and digital content formats, and an interest in small-business storytelling and community-driven narratives.
