Job Description: Video Editor (Social Media)
Location: Government Client Office, 6 days
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Position Type: Full-Time, on fixed term employment
About the Role
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Video editor to join our team. Stationed at our government client's office, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling content tailored for social media platforms. Your work will play a key role in enhancing the digital presence and engagement of the client’s campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Design high-quality graphics, videos, GIFs, and other multimedia content for social media channels.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all visuals align with the client’s branding guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Video Editing: Edit short-form and long-form video content, adding effects, transitions, and subtitles as needed.
- Social Media Adaptation: Tailor content for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), keeping platform-specific requirements in mind.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the client’s communication team to conceptualize and execute creative strategies.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on social media trends and recommend innovative ideas to increase audience engagement.
- Project Management: Ensure timely delivery of all design projects while maintaining quality standards.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video editing particularly for social media.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Knowledge of social media management tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
- Experience with motion graphics is highly desirable.
Portfolio:
A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in video for social media campaigns.
Education:
A degree or certification in Video, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.

- Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability to feedback and quick turnarounds.
