Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging and high-quality visual content. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, editing styles, pacing, transitions, sound design, and social media trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for social media, digital campaigns, advertisements, and brand communication.
- Create engaging short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and music to enhance video quality.
- Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, photographers, and social media teams for smooth project execution.
- Maintain proper organization of raw footage, project files, and final outputs.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, viral formats, and platform-specific content styles.
- Perform color correction, audio balancing, and basic motion graphics when required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Knowledge of social media video formats and audience engagement trends.
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and animation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Production, Media, Animation, or a related field.
- Previous experience in digital media agencies, production houses, or creative studios preferred.
- Portfolio or showreel showcasing previous editing work is mandatory.
