Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging visual content. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound design, and platform-specific editing styles for social media and digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for social media, digital campaigns, advertisements, and brand communication.
- Create short-form and long-form content optimized for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Work closely with the content, media, and creative teams to understand project requirements and deliver engaging outputs.
- Add graphics, transitions, subtitles, motion elements, sound effects, and music to enhance video quality.
- Manage raw footage, maintain editing timelines, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, viral formats, and platform algorithms.
- Ensure consistency in brand tone, visual quality, and storytelling style across all content.
- Coordinate with photographers, designers, and social media teams for seamless content execution.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Strong understanding of color correction, audio balancing, and motion graphics.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of social media content formats and audience engagement.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and storytelling ability.
- Basic knowledge of camera angles, framing, and cinematography is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Media, Film Production, Animation, or a related field.
- Prior experience in digital media agencies, creative studios, or production houses preferred.
- Portfolio/showreel showcasing previous editing work is mandatory.
