Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Mumbai. The Video Editor will work closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to edit raw footage into polished content for movies, web series, TV shows, music videos, and short films. Daily responsibilities include assembling and trimming clips, refining narrative flow, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and applying color correction and grading to achieve the desired visual style. The role also involves collaborating on motion graphics and titles, ensuring brand and platform consistency, managing media assets, and delivering final files in required formats and resolutions within production timelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, creating timelines, and managing post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual tone, adjust exposure, and ensure consistent look and feel across projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating titles, lower thirds, visual effects, and platform-ready visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of pacing, composition, and continuity are expected.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional creative teams, accept feedback constructively, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Previous experience in OTT, film, television, or digital media editing is an advantage; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work is highly preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Film Editing, Media, Communication, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
